Well, Well! Congradulations to Obama! He wins the nomination. Lucky for him he did so well at first, as the last month or so, he really started to shine… for who he really was/is…. and people did not like it. Read what a few Democrats say below.
—-
This empty endorsement flies in the face of the last 6 months. I, as someone who voted for Obama the first time around, have had a better chance to see what I was voting for since that early primary and like most Americans did not like what I saw. His vote totals went down each month and won only because of a quick start.
I will cast my vote for Mr. McCain in November.
—-
This is the worst thing that could happen to the Democrat party. Hillary was the best chance to keep the White House.
What with Obamas ties to Racism and corruption. Obama should have dropped out after Rev Wrigth came to light. Many people mostly White, don’t like Obamas connections to this racist man.
Obama is also tied to Rezko. He was just convicted on 16 counts of corruption. This will be coming out during the General Election. Once America gets a true look at Obama, they will unite with McCain. It will cost the Dems the White House in Nov.
I am voting McCain all the way.
—-
It doesn’t matter what Clinton say’s Obama will never get my vote !
—-
I have never voted for a Republican in 23 years of being a voter, but there is something eerily “Jim Jones and the Guyana Tragedy” about Obama that I don’t like, so for the first and hopefully last time, this November the Republicans get my vote. And no, it has nothing to do with Rev.Wright.
—-
Those are just a few of the Demorats that realize that Obama is about the worst president we could have.
We will keep you updated as the election continues!
Goodbye until the next post!

By Peggy Shapiro at American Thinker:
Barack Obama’s call to action is “Change we can believe in.” I would love to believe it, but until now I haven’t even been able to understand it. What is going to change? With his latest about face on direct talks with Iran’s Ahmadinejad, Obama has finally clarified what he is going to change: his opinion. From terror to funding for tots, where there’s controversy and two sides to be wooed, there is the Obama about-face.
This week, Obama’s key foreign policy advisor, Susan E. Rice, told the New York Times that Obama never claimed he would be willing to
meet “unconditionally” with Iran’s president Mr. Ahmadinejad. Dr. Rice said that Obama would not meet at the presidential level with this Iran or any other so-called “rogue” state without the preparation to use such a meeting as leverage for change. In fact, it was only right-wing machinations or imagination that “distorted and reframed” Obama’s views.
That was certainly a change from numerous statements candidate Obama made on the same topic. Did John McCain enter the following posting on Obama’s campaign website? “Obama is the only major candidate who supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions.”
Nothing could have been clearer than Obama’s response to Anderson Cooper during the YouTube Continue Reading »

Michelle Obama’s latest gaffe: ‘See, this is what gets me into trouble’
Michelle Obama, wife of presidential candidate Barack Obama, known for saying what’s on her mind – candidly, spontaneously and frequently – has exposed this trait yet again in a profile in the London Guardian.
Asked how she feels about Bill Clinton’s use of the phrase “fairytale” to describe her husband’s characterization of his position on the
But, after a few seconds of contemplation, and gesturing with her fingernails, she told the reporter: “I want to rip his eyes out!”
Noticing an aide giving her a nervous look, she added: “Kidding! See, this is what gets

“We have a chance to bring the country together. A nation healed, a world repaired. An America that believes again.”
- Excerpted from Barack Obama’s “Unify” television commercial.
Barack Obama’s meteoric rise on the political scene is built on the premise that he, more than any other candidate, can unite the nation’s divisions and bridge the gap between black and white, Republican and Democrat, poor and rich. In South Carolina, The State echoed other endorsements, “Sen. Obama’s campaign is an argument for a more unifying style of leadership. ..American unity - transcending party - is a core value in itself.”
His promise of unity rings hollow when he discounts a significant segment of the voting population. What a surprise it must be to America’s white workers that Obama’s campaign manager David Axelrod writes them off because “[t]he white working class has gone to the Republican nominee for many elections, going back even to the Clinton years.”
Aren’t they included in the great national healing.
Obama’s dismissal of a group of Americans which he hopes to serve brings to mind another “healing” predecessor, Jimmy Carter. Bob Shrum, former presidential speech writer, recounted that in the 1976 presidential campaign, Carter was convinced that Jewish voters were favoring Henry (”Scoop”) Jackson. “Jackson has all the Jews anyway,” Shrum quoted Carter as saying. “We get the Christians.”
Who will be the next group excluded by the great “uniter”?

From American Thinker:
In City Journal, Sol Stern raises some additional questions about Bill Ayers not related to his bomb throwing activities 40 years ago.
Instead, Stern concentrates on the radical teacher Ayers and how his position as respected professor of education should worry us all:
Unfortunately, neither Obama nor his critics in the media seem to have a clue about Ayers’s current work and his widespread influence in the education schools. In his last debate with Hillary Clinton, Obama referred to Ayers as a “professor of English,” an error that the media then repeated. Would that Ayers were just another radical English professor. In that case, his poisonous anti-American teaching would be limited to a few hundred college students in the liberal arts. But through his indoctrination of future K–12 teachers, Ayers has been able to influence what happens in hundreds, perhaps thousands, of classrooms.
Ayers’s influence on what is taught in the nation’s public schools is likely to grow in the future. Last month, he was elected vice president for curriculum of the 25,000-member American Educational Research Association (AERA), the nation’s largest organization of education-school professors and researchers. Ayers won the election handily, and there is no doubt that his fellow education professors knew whom they were voting for. In the short biographical statement distributed to prospective voters beforehand, Ayers listed among his scholarly books Fugitive Days, an unapologetic memoir about his ten years in the Weather Underground. The book includes dramatic accounts of how he bombed the Pentagon and other public buildings.
AERA already does a great deal to advance the social-justice teaching agenda in the nation’s schools and has established a Social Justice Division with its own executive director. With Bill Ayers now part of the organization’s national leadership, you can be sure that it will encourage even more funding and support for research on how teachers can promote left-wing ideology in the nation’s classrooms—and correspondingly less support for research on such mundane subjects as the best methods for teaching underprivileged children to read.
The radicalization of universities is virtually complete thanks to tenure for far left professors and the war against conservatives in the academy. Now the revolution in secondary and primary schools is well underway and we can expect the “Ayers Method” to be the preferred way to indoctrinate the young into radical liberal politics.
In many ways, this is a more insidious threat than anything Ayers was capable of 40 years ago. And he has a host of educators, administrators, and school board members on his side to make it happen.

This is an awesome article by Selwyn Duke from American Thinker:

If you interview someone for a job, you’ll expect him to tell you what you want to hear. There’ll be a façade, and his darker side will remain well-hidden. Now, let’s say a requirement for the job is that the applicant likes children, and he does his best Captain Kangaroo. But then you find out he has a job history of indifference to and perhaps even abuse of kids and that, during unguarded moments, he has expressed disdain for them. What will you believe, what he tries to sell you, or history and hair-down revelations?
Remember this when evaluating the profound discrepancy between Barack Obama’s damage-control denials and flowery rhetoric, and his long track record. Understand that he, like the other candidates, is interviewing for the job of president with you, the interviewer. His job is to bend the truth; your job is to discern it. The only question is: Who will do a better job, he or you?
Either Obama really is a savior for the third millennium, or the answer is that he is, thus far, besting many of you. Millions flock to him, registering oohs and ahs, fainting and fawning. Even critics and watchdogs heap praise upon him; Bill O’Reilly said he likes Obama and Sean Hannity proclaimed him a “good man.” But what is the truth about this applicant?
Let me tell you a story. In 2002, President Bush signed into law a bill titled the “Born Alive Infants Protection Act” (BAIPA). This law was necessary because, believe it or not, infants were being Continue Reading »

Barack Obama’s campaign has been all about image. The well-dressed, impeccably groomed, and elegantly articulate speaker was able to speak of hope, change, and unity, and for awhile the public bought it. Capitalizing on the huge store of guilt, compassion, and hope for better racial relations among the vast majority of Americans of all races, Obama posed as the man who might heal the wounds of the past.
The bonhomie lasted for months, as the press corps, no strangers to t
heir own guilt and hope and leftist inclinations, averted its eyes from those elements of his politics and life story that were discordant with a unifier’s mission, and portayed him as almost supernaturally virtuous. Obama long ago learned how to disarm strangers who might find him an unusual or perhaps threatening figure, and as long as the scrutiny didn’t get too detailed, the game worked splendidly.
But that was before Hillary Clinton’s campaign took him seriously. Before the Clinton war room wizards, past masters of planting stories and themes in friendly media hands, got to work on him. American Thinker and other conservative websites long have been pointing to his Alinskyite past, noting his Senate voting record and his propensity to associate with left wing extremists like Bill Ayers. But until very recently, the major media were Continue Reading »

I’ve spoken of the shining city all my political life…. [I]n my mind it was a tall, proud city built on rocks stronger than oceans, wind-swept, God-blessed….” - President Ronald Reagan, Farewell Address, January 11, 1989
“‘God Bless America?’ No, no, no, God d— America…. God d— America…. God d— America!!”
- Jeremiah Wright, pastor to Barack Obama for two decades
The spiritual mentors of Ronald Reagan shaped his understanding and vision of America’s role in the world. Why would anyone assume the same does not hold true for Barack Obama?
Americans have always been a religious people, with the vast majority believing in God and a consistent majority attending religious services — from the founding to today. The so-called worldview and even politics of many Americans are frequently shaped, guided, or reinforced by what they hear week after week from behind the pulpit, from the person of God they respect and usually admire as their pastor. A pastor leads the flock. A good pastor reads and applies Scripture to the times — to the events of the day. Pastors hold an immense responsibility, as they can very well mold a citizen, leader, and even that rarest of Continue Reading »

If you haven’t been the direct recipient of a Barack Obama lie then hang on, your turn will come. He’ll get around to lying to everyone sooner or later in his quest to be Prez. Here’s where he lied to the nice people of Iowa back in December, 2007.
Desperate to emerge from the packed Democratic field victorious, Barack apparently felt compelled to twist the truth with regards to his dear Mother. He was talking to the heartland of America, so it’s time for Barack to lie about his mother and about his religious upbringing, in order to dispel rumors and innuendo surrounding his Islamic background:
Sphere: Related ContentAt a stop at Smoky Row Coffee Shop in Oskaloosa, Obama sat down to eat some pumpkin pie with four local women and ended up having to explain how he was not a Muslim. An older woman seated at the table asked Obama to explain his Muslim heritage, to which the candidate replied, “This is something that keeps on being misreported, so I’m glad you asked me.”
Obama was referring to an e-mail chain accusing him of being a Muslim with an intent to undermine the United States. Early this year, false reports also circulated that he had attended a madrassa as a child. Obama explained his connection to Islam in this way:
“My father was from Kenya,” he said, “and a lot of people in his village were Muslim. He didn’t practice Islam. Truth is he wasn’t very religious. He met my mother. My mother was a Christian from Kansas, and they married and then divorced. I was raised by my mother. So, I’ve always been a Christian. The only connection I’ve had to Islam is that my grandfather on my father’s side came from that country. But I’ve never practiced

33 Senators Voted Against English as America ’s Official Language on June 6, 2007.
On Wed. 6 June 2007 Colonel Harry Riley, USA, Ret., wrote:
Senators:
Your vote against an amendment to the immigration Bill 1348……to make English America’s official language is astounding. On D-Day, no less, when we honor those that sacrificed in order to secure the bedrock, character and principles of America , I can only surmise your vote reflects a loyalty to illegal aliens.
I don’t much care where you come from. What your religion is. Whether you’re black, white, or some other color……male or female……Democrat, Republican or Independent……. But I do care when you are a United States Senator representing Citizens of America ….and vote against English as the official language of the United States .
Your vote reflects Betrayal. Political Surrender. Violates Your Pledge of Allegiance. Dishonors historical principle. Rejects Patriotism. Borders on traitorous action and, in my opinion, makes you unfit to serve as a United States Senator…impeachment… Recall……..Or other appropriate action is warranted or worse.
Four of you voting against English as America ’s Official Language are Presidential Candidates: Senator Biden, Senator Clinton, Senator Dodd and Senator Obama.
Four Senators vying to lead America , but won’t or don’t have the courage to cast a vote in favor of “English” as America ’s Official Language when 91% of American Citizens want English officially designated as our language.
This is the second time in the last several months this list of Senators have disgraced themselves as “political Hacks”…… Unworthy as Senators and certainly unqualified to serve as President of the United States .
If America is as angry as I am, you will realize a backlash so stunning it will literally “rock you out of your panties”……… And preferably totally out of the United States Senate.
The entire immigration bill is a farce… Your action only confirms this really isn’t about America …..it is about self-serving politics……despicable at best. It has been said: “Never Argue with an Idiot….They’ll drag you down to their level!
The following Senators voted against making English the official language Of America :

From American Thinker:“The anger is real. It is powerful, and to simply wish it away, to condemn it without understanding its roots, only serves to widen the chasm of misunderstanding that exists between the races.”
- Barack Obama
Back in the late 1980s I was on a plane flying out of New Orleans and sitting next to me was a rather interesting and, according to Barack Obama, unusual black man. Friendly, gregarious, and wise beyond his years, we immediately hit it off. I had been working on Vietnamese commercial fishing boats for a few years based in southern Louisiana. The boats were owned by the recent wave of Vietnamese refugees who flooded into the familiar tropical environment after the war. Floating in calm seas out in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, I would hear tearful songs and tales from ex-paratroopers about losing brothers, sisters, parents, children, lovers, and beautiful Vietnam itself to the communists.
In Bayou country I lived on boats and in doublewide trailers, and like the rest of the Vietnamese refugees, I shopped at Wal-Mart and ate a lot of rice. When they arrived in Louisiana the refugees had no money (the money that they had was used to bribe their way out of Vietnam and into refugee camps in Thailand), few friends, and a mostly unfriendly and suspicious local population.
They did however have strong families, a strong work ethic, and the “Audacity of Hope.” Within a generation, with little or no knowledge of English, the Vietnamese had achieved dominance in the fishing industry there and their children were already achieving the top SAT scores in the state.
While I had been fishing my new black friend had been working as a prison psychologist in Missouri, and he was pursuing a higher degree in psychology. He was interested in my story, and after about an hour getting to know each other I asked him point blank why these Vietnamese refugees, with no money, friends, or knowledge of the language could be, within a generation, so successful. I also asked him why it was so difficult to convince young black men to abandon the Continue Reading »

First there was Jeremiah Wright. Is Emil Jones next? The press had a field day with Obama’s religious mentor and friend. But the story behind Obama’s political mentor also contains some disturbing elements.
Emil Jones, the Democratic leader of the Illinois State Senate is the man who is credited with propelling the little known state senator to the political heights in Washington.
Sphere: Related Content“You have the power to elect a US senator,” Obama told Emil Jones, Democratic leader of the Illinois state senate. Jones looked at the ambitious young man smiling before him and asked, teasingly: “Do you know anybody I could make a US senator?”According to Jones, Obama replied: “Me.” It was his first, audacious step in a spectacular rise from the murky political backwaters of Springfield, the Illinois capital.
[snip]
At one point during Obama’s 2003 Senate campaign, Jones set out to woo two African-American politicians miffed by Obama’s presumption and ambition. One of them, Rickey “Hollywood” Hendon, a state senator, had scoffed that Obama was so ambitious he would run for “king of the world” if the position were vacant. When Jones secured the two men’s support, Obama asked

It’s going to be a strange presidential election year, no question about it.
For one thing, major party presidential nominees almost always have middle names.
In the past, it’s been, “All the way with JFK.” I think that was used again with LBJ. We all knew Richard Nixon’s middle name was Milhous. He wasn’t ashamed. There was Gerald R. Ford, then James Earl Carter, better known as Jimmy. Then came Ronald Wilson Reagan before the first George Bush who had two middle names – Herbert Walker. Bill Clinton was actually William Jefferson Blythe Clinton. And then, of course, came George Bush – known around the world by the initial of his middle name, “W.”
But this year looks different.
For if Barack Obama should get the Democratic Party nod, he’s made it clear we can’t use his middle name.
All I can tell you is it starts with an “H.” Even his Republican opponent has said it’s just not appropriate for anyone to cite his middle name.
It is the middle name we dare not speak?
Isn’t this going to be unusual?
I’m not quite sure why Barack H. Obama is so sensitive about Continue Reading »
